Charles Elders

Mr. Charles Henry Elders, 76, of Dalton passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Barney Elders, Sr. and Lillie Mae Goswick Elders and was preceded in death his daughter, Donna Lynn Elders and a sister, Mable Louise Elders.
Charles had a lifelong love for music, especially playing the guitar and he loved working with his hands.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Elders of Dalton; mother of his children, Wanda Elders McDonald of Tunnel Hill; brothers, B.W. “Dub” Elders, Jr, Steve Elders, Jimmy Elders and Robert “Bob” Elders all of Dalton; sisters, Ruth Thompson of Crandall, Lucille Stanley and Bernice Lowman both of Dalton; his beloved pet, Pogo; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at noon in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
