G. J. Mitchell

Mr. G.J. Mitchell, 89, of Dalton, died Friday, September 2, 2005 at the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn. on what would have been the 68th wedding anniversary for he and his late wife, Grace Vining Mitchell, who died in 2001.
G.J. is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Jack & Marseille Mitchell of Harrison, Tn.
Daughter & son-in-law, Emily & Gerald Miller of Simpsonville, S.C.
Grandchildren, Lauren & Larry Vandergriff of Rocky Face, Brandon & Christine Burrell of Suwanee, Lee & Michelle Miller of Frederick, M.D. and Lane Miller of Hatteras N.C.
Great-grandson, Connor Burrell.
Nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 3 P.M. from the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Trammell Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross-Katrina Hurricane Relief, P.O. Box 357 Dalton, Ga. 30722-0357.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:30 to 8 P.M. at Love Funeral Home.
