Ruth Hill

Mrs. Ruth Jones Hill, 99, of Dalton passed away Wednesday April 4, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hill; son, James Wright Hill; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruby Crawford, Stella and N. F. McNeal; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ted and Odel Jones, Luke and Fay Jones and Robert Jones; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Benny W. Hill, Docia and Walley Meiers and Rowena and Archie Hinkle.
Ruth is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Carolyn Hill and Donna Hill all of Dalton; sister, Lois Jones of Charleston, SC; sister-in-law, Doris Hill of Marietta, Ga; 6 grandchildren, Greg and Sonya Jones, Stiles and Renee Sanford, Greg Hill, Holly and Todd Alford, April Cook and Tyler and Amanda Hill; 5 great-grandchildren, Brandy and Scott Adams, Harley Jones, Taylor Hill, Dillon and Sarah Sanford, Trey Cook and Ky Alford; 1 great-great-grandchild, Kaleigh and Maddox Adams; nieces, nephews and many dear friends also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 P.M. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hammonds and Rev. Walter Hare officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 9 P.M..
