Fannie Cole

Mrs. Fannie Barks Cole, 73, of Dalton, passed away Friday March 30, 2012 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late, Alma and Glenn Barks and was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Ellison; brother, Billy Joe Barks; aunt and uncle Bertie and Joe Barks and son-in-law, Ricky Parr.
She was affectionately known as everyone’s Granny at Heather’s Gameroom.
Fannie is survived by her husband, Robert Cole of Dalton; son, Robert Glen Cole; daughter, Kathy Parr both of Dalton; brother Glen Barks, Jr. of Dalton; grandchildren, Heather Parr, Thomas Parr and Kaitlyn Parr; great-grandson, Heath Parr nephews Dennis Ellison, Melvin “Butch” Ellison and Farron Bearden; sister-in-law, Hazel Bearden; special family, Jessica Botts and Emma Reed both of Chatsworth, Robyn and Jackson McGaugh, Melvin Ellison, Donatus Ellison all of Dalton, Brian Jones, Gina Jones, Kelslin Jones and Lori Beth Jones all of Chatsworth.
Funeral services will be at 4 P.M. Sunday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Morgan officiating.
Burial will be in Grove Level Cemetery with John Ridley, Robert Stephens, Jackson McGaugh, Brian Jones, Bruce Duncan and Mike Duncan serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday after 4 P.M.
