Florence Hammock

Mrs. Florence Strickland Hammock, 83, of Murfreesboro, TN. and formerly of Dalton, passed away March 28, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late, P. P. Otis and Cornelia Stansell Clement and was preceded in death by her first husband, Tom Strickland; second husband, Benjamin Hammock; and son, Gregory Hammock.
Mrs. Hammock was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Smyrna, Georgia and was retired from the Bank of Smyrna.
She is survived by her children, Phylis Faircloth and husband Leon of Murfreesboro, TN, Tommy Strickland and wife Debbie of Franklin, TN. and Butch Strickland of Dalton; twin sister, Frances Bailey of Dalton; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Dawnville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 1 to 3 P.M.
