Beverly Tarpley

Mrs. Beverly Branch Tarpley, 75 of Dalton, passed away suddenly Tuesday March 27, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late, William Henry Branch and Hilda Mobley Branch both of Baxley, GA and was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack K. Tarpley in 2011.
Beverly received a Secretarial Certificate from Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville. She was an active member of the Dalton First United Methodist Church for over 50 years and a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class, U.M.C.W. (United Methodist Club for Women) and a member of the Four Seasons Garden Club.
Beverly is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Perry Kisor of Dalton and Alison and Greg Burnette of Gainesville, GA; son, Ken Tarpley of Dalton; grandchildren, Emily Kisor of Atlanta, Ali Burnette and Brooks Burnette both of Gainesville; aunt, Mrs. Walton H. Clifton, Jr. of Dalton.
A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at the Dalton First United Methodist Church with the Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately follow the service in the Atrium of the Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 500 S. Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA 30720.
