Martha Virginia Montgomery

Mrs. Martha Virginia Godfrey Montgomery, 71, of Dalton passed away Wednesday February 1, 2012 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Roe Godfrey; mother, Mary Florine Gossett Gibson; infant daughter, Sandra Lee Montgomery; brother, Dennis Lee Gibson; and grandmother, Martha Nell Gossett.
Martha is survived by her husband, Charles Lamar Montgomery of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Randall Webb of Chatsworth and Cynthia and Charles Frank of Estill, SC; brother, Frank David Godfrey of Cohutta; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara Carol Moore of Cohutta and Sandra Jane and Terry Harrow of Lafayette; grandchildren, Eric Daniel (Fannie) Sewell, Heather Anne (Erik) Moore, Rachel Leighanne (Gerald “Punkin”) Champion, Matthew Derrick Frank and Jonathan Michael Frank; great-grandchildren, Noah Blake Sewell, Jacob Nathaniel Sewell, Ryleigh Makenna Champion and (Gerald) Ethan Champion; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Grove Level Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from noon until the funeral at 2 P.M.
