Ethel M. Smith

Mrs. Ethel M. Brookshire Smith, 91, of Dalton passed away Friday June 29, 2007 at National Health Care of Ft.. Oglethorpe, Ga.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Green & Liza Brookshire; step-mother, Bessie Houston Brookshire; husband, Russell Smith; daughter, Vennie Carter; sons, William Hershel Smith and Terry Eugene Smith and brother, Fain Brookshire.
Ethel is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws, Vivian & Arvil Postelle of Gadston, AL, Dorothy & Ben Vaughn and Geraldine & Terry Mantooth all of Dalton.
Sons and daughter-in-law, James Smith of Atlanta and Ray & Betty Smith of Chatsworth.
Very special friend, Elizabeth Mantooth of Dalton.
14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Postelle officiating.
Burial will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 until 9 P.M. at Love Funeral Home.
