Mr. Arvil Lee Swanson, 84, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday August 17, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Mark and Bessie Jones Swanson and was preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Screws and nieces and nephews.
Arvil is survived by his loving wife, Rosie Dixon Swanson; son, Andrew Swanson; grandchildren, Daniel Swanson and Becky Swanson all of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M.
