Mr. Julius “Buck” Goodson, 86, of Dalton passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at his residence. He was the son of the late William and Bridget Tarvin Goodson and was preceded in death by his wife, Roseann Manning Goodson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cuma Carter, Frances and Jessie Puryear, Dillie and Bob Bryant; brother and sister-in-law, W. H. and Alma Lou Goodson. Buck is survived by his sons, Randy B. Goodson and Gerald Lee Goodson both of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Charlotte Garrison, Cindy and Steve Massengill and Roxey Cantrell all of Dalton; sisters, Margie Bell Bramblett of Dalton and Eula Mae Manning of Villanow; brother and sister-in-law, Tarvin and Carolyn Goodson of Dalton; grandchildren, Nikki Lee Hope, Roseann Page, Rory Cantrell, Wendy Curtis, Tonya Goodson, Barandi Goodson, Houston Cantrell, Lee Cantrell, Lindsey Goodson, Dylan Massengill, Donnie Garrison and Chris Garrison; 21 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many cousins also survive. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 9 P.M and also on Monday from 5 to 9 P.M.
