Mrs. Mary Hunter Needham, 74 of Dalton, and formerly of Winder, GA. passed away Sunday February 12, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late, William R. and Verna Sharpton Hunter and was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Donald O. Needham sons, Vernon Needham and Phillip Needham. Mary attended Young Harris and was employed with Patcraft industries for 16 years. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Needham of Dalton; sisters, Margaret Loggins and Kay Pierce; brothers, Rex Hunter and Ernest Austin all of Winder; her pet D. D. and grand-pet Dash; special friends, Frances Gibson, Pam Johnson, Gail and Jessica Osborn and Betty and Jay Garmany all of Dalton. The family would like to thank the nurses with Hamilton Hospice, Debbie, Carolann and Charlene for their love and care of Mary and the family. Memorial services will be Wednesday at 7 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home from 6 P.M. til the memorial service at 7.
